Thread: Rear muffler delete

Just wondering how many people have done it. And if they think its cool or annoying. But I may take them off just to see then if I don't like it put them back on

my muffler blew out, so i took it off, till i got the new one on, 2 days, and that was enough for me. just got real old real fast.

Several have done it. We have all laughed at them. If you want it louder do it right.

Don't make the car sound like poop.

Headers will give a slightly deeper tone and a little increase in loudness. Removing the resonator will make it a little louder too but you'll get a really bad rasp without it.

Being supercharged, I would suggest headers to help flow and enjoy the whine. The 3800 doesn't sound very good once it gets audible. Its not a V6. Quiet and fast as a screaming banshee is the way to go. Sleeper status

And I know on the 3.0 motors in the Stratus/3G Eclipse had a muffler on there with two ressies and 3 cats.

Yeah. The 94-95 Cali-spec and 96+ 3000GT and Stealths are basically the same.
