    Can you put a Performance Shift Knob in a GP that doesnt have one?

    Yes.

    But its already "built into" the pcm on 01+ cars that dont have the button.

    I think there is a thread that shows you what you can do to put on in.

    I have one i'd sell if you're interested.

    Just run a wire and pin it in the PCM...it's either #23 or #26.

    Does that mean you don't need the switch on the shifter? The #23 or #26 pin turns it on?

    Yeah, you need a PS shift knob.

    Or put it on a toggle switch.

    Which is pretty ricey.

    You need a re-programmed PCM with the correct Cal's for performance shift.

    You also need to run a wire from the ECU, through the shifter switch, to ground.

    Pin 21 Clear connector.

    Seems like forever ago that I figured out how to do this... heh

    Is it possible to change the shift knob in the 02 go gr, with the shift engage trigger on it?
