I've got this part and I'm not sure what it's called but I need a new 1 because it goes on top of the door panel. This one fell off :-( any tips for putting it on whenever I find a new one?

Thin and super flimsy right. If its what i'm thinking of they are notorious for falling off, correct me if i'm wrong but it doesn't really do much maybe just dull wind noise,

Pics of where it came off the car might help

Only place to find those is the salvage yard and 9 times out of 10 they are broken.

Apparently it might leak in a rain storm.

Yup, the staples that hold them on come out, you can pop the door panel off and re-install it if you want.

It goes before the weather stripping piece that the window slides down through.

That's if I am seeing and understanding that part right.

How might your windows leak those things are on the inside of the window?

I pulled what was left of the ones on my car off. They don't do anything. Except break.

i used a thin smear of gorilla glue to seal mine back up on the regal, looked bad separating from the door panel. it never came all the way off tho.
