I have a front bumper from my green gtp.
theres a paper tag on the underside/inside of the cover on genuine OEM covers.
aftermarket fits like ass and most insurance companies use them because theyre cheap and they can. if you can get a decent oem go that route. our bumpers are made of fancy oelifin plastic and stuff doesnt like to stick to raw plastic
Thanks guys for the info!! Just talked to the guy and the covers been painted....but never installed. I've seen pics and it looks good....I'll just have to look for the tags ...if they're still there.

Got the bumper today, new..never installed. Here are the two tags I found on it:

Got the car back today and the new bumper looks great. Paint is perfect. Body shop said they found no damage behind the cover but it still sits just a little lower since the accident. I have a gap between the tail light and the bumper which is probably not noticeable to any one but me...lol. Is there any way to "lift" the cover just a bit? The sides look perfect...no gap at all. Seems to get more noticeable as you get to center of the rear bumper where it was hit. Here is a before accident pic...and the new cover installed.

You could put some washers under the bumper cover
Yeah that would probably help a little bit
Is there something that the cover rests on? That may have possibly been bent in the collision? All of my damage was right around the plate area.

I'll pull my rear cover off the parts car tom and post a pic
Thanks! I pulled my taillights and the 4 fasteners right by the trunk lid and I can't see anything that would cause the cover to sit lower.

Only thought would be that the collision pulled/pushed the cover downward possibly bending the metal area those 4 fastners are connected to. In that case a few washers should hopefully lift it enough.
