Had check engine light come on in my 04 gtp, so hooked it up to code scanner and got a p0420. Saying i have low levels. Think i might just need a new 02 sensor, but looking for a bit of insight to help.

Please search on the code to learn about it. This is one that is covered quite frequently.
The basics are you probably need a catalytic.

P0420 is low catalyist efficiency no?
Any exhaust mods?
Stock converter?
HFC?

Do you notice any loss of power? I had to gut my cat a few weeks ago. Power is back to normal.
