I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix that my wife slid off the road with today. Well, everything seems to be fine but under the car there was this loud scraping sound coming home, so I looked under there and there was what looked like a piece of metal or aluminum that was bent in half with the tip scraping against the ground. I can't reach it to bend it back. But it looks like some type of underbody protection, or something like that. It's in the middle area of the car from side to side, and looks to be under the backseat area from front to back. Anyone know what that might be, and what it would cost to fix/replace? I appreciate any and all input...thanks!
