01 GTP light problem

Problem with the blue security light that blinks on most cars after you turn your car off. Well mine ether stays on or dose not come on at all any help with this would be nice as i live in a bad aria.

Grand Prix has a red security light in the center of the dash.

Can you get a pic of it, it sounds after market. And is it hooked up to your stereo?

My security light by my ambient light sensor doesnt blink either, only when im in the car or something i cant remember but i know when i leave the car its not blinking.
