    hey everyone
    need a little help here
    the blower in the car is stuck on floor i have a 98 GP GTP with dual digital climate control
    any ideas

    i was hoping that wasnt an issue with these cars i was hoping to replace the climate control head unit and viola

    I'm not entirely familiar with the workings of the W body's HVAC system but it should be vacuum controlled and if you get a vacuum leak it will default to one position and then stay there. On the old Taurus' we used to work on they would default to defroster but it's entirely possible the w body defaults to floor.

    Follow the middle vacuum line on the vac tree on the blower.

    That leads to the hvac stuff.

    Which then leads around by the battery, along the front bumper and to a vacuum can in the driverside fender. If that can is broken, the check valve is bad or the T by the fuse box (under hood) is bad...all those can cause this type of issue.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
