I bought a 2dr Stratus 3.0 with a manual... mainly to learn how to drive one. Since then, I've only driven two other cars with a manual: HHR and a Camaro. It's a good skill to have and it's mostly about feel. Honestly though, automatics dominate so much that it's hard to find a manual except in certain cars, and autos are getting better every year.
Also, learning to drive a manual GOOD takes skills and time. Getting a car to move without killing it just takes 5 minutes. I've lost count of the number of tards "driving" a manual but they rev high when pulling out and all kinds of crap. No wonder they burn up the clutch so fast.
