I was driving home from work and after leaving a store I stopped at I accelerated kinda quickly I guess and this thing fell off. It looks like a cover, its not too solid, I could flex it. I'm just not sure what it is. It's really wet out and I have nowhere to get under the car to look.

    I uploaded the pictures here: Postimage.org / gallery - Cam 203, Cam 204, Cam 205, Cam 206

Ahahahaha. Oh man. How shot are your engine/trans mounts that your engine could rock that much?
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

The holes around the cover were all rusted away. 11 winters are brutal. On a side note, whats the deal with replacing or checking these mounts? Is it hard to do by myself? Expensive?

Not hard to do yourself. The hardest side is the pass side (the engine mount). You'll have to jack up the motor to remove and replace this one. Trans side is easy.

the trans mount you also need to lift the engine up as well, i did both of them , took about 30 minutes a side tops.

you need jack stands. ramps wont work, you need the front tires off. you need a wide board, 2x6 at like 1 to 2 feet long, and a jack, put the wood across the oil pan and trans pan, take the dog bones off up top, in the front there. remove the bolts that hold the mount in and jack the engine up till the mount clears, put new on in drop and bolt it back in, off to the other side, same deal.

    i don't think i paid over 60 or 70 for both mounts.

search youtube, great vids for how to's.
