y does she wanna trade anyway?

Do it(then regret it). I regret trading my Fox Notch for this GP all the time. I miss that slow, loud, no oil dripping ford.
it seems like a very very pointless trade to me. and i agree with about everything everyone has said so far. if she's willing to just trade it straight up, maybe she'll give it up for cheap. so if you kinda want it y dont you just try offering her some cash? if thats your gp in your profile picture it looks really clean especially for a 99 and if i were you i wouldnt trade it.
Do a gas for ass trade instead.
y do u wanna trade anyways? thats what i dont get...
yea i dont get y ud trade a good condition 99 with lower mileage + faster gtp for a 05 N/A that has 200k+ and a previous owner that travled a **** ton, i mean i like the 04+ but i wouldnt trade a faster car for a slower one with higher mileage haha
Nah mine ist in very good condition. I just got done putting in a new "used" tranny from a regal GS, it still shifts weird... runs like poop sometimes (i need to just do plugs and wires prolly) needs an AC compressor soon, and driver window motor went out today... plus 2 decent sized dents and faded paint on bumpers.... I got it for $1000... lol... so no my car isn't necessarily better...
The only think that I can see wrong with her car from just looking at it is dented fender (an easy $175 change) and high miles.... as long as the guy who drove that 1/4th million miles kept up on maintnance then miles don't scare me at all on a GM with a 3800 series III....
I just need to drive it... then ill know.
id keep the 99 you most likely have been through that entire car and know pretty much everything about it at this point which is better then getting a new car that you know nothing about for no reason yours still runs it just sounds like you have little problems to fix
also i completely agree with bill a woman owned gp scars me i would know my moms had 3 and drove them all into the ground with under 40k miles on them
i know its so sadpoor gp's this is why my mom leases shes the type of person where the dealership has to call her when shes 6000 miles over due on an oil change
because oil is expensive, she wont pay, the cars are leases
to change the oil myself properly is around $30 theres a shop about 2 miles down the road from where i live that will do it for $12 i dont trust them with my car but thats where we take the other cars
and how much is he really gonna get for a 05 base model GP withc cloth interior with 211k miles on it? he would have way more fun with his GTP and he proably already knows the car. why get rid of it and take a chance of selling it and end up buying some POS that he thought was a nice car but ends up needing alot of work. i could see hers booking for more but not WAY more.
He said his wasn't in good condition. Depending on the dent in her fender, it can be pulled. And since it's "newer" some idiot is always going to be willing to pay significantly more for it. Plus, you're much more likely to get a hit sooner on a newer car than an older car. For what it's worth, 177k isn't exactly low. My 98 has 160k+ and I don't think I could sell it if I wanted to. If her car is straight and appears to drive out just fine, we're talking a grand at least depending on options. But as I said, someone will always pay for a newer car.
He has $1400 in his car, if it's in any sort of condition where someone could easily spot something and say "that definitely isn't right" he's instantly down to maybe $2500 for that car. Hers is probably an assured $4000 on up. That's how it works at stealerships, that how it works private party, just different price ranges. That's the key though, private party. Yeah, dealer will give you 2k tops for the '05 and maybe $1500 for the '99, but on the street... as I said, minimum $2600 profit for him.
