Even if you gained 3-4hp, it wouldnt make any difference, you wouldnt feel it nor even notice it on dyno.

But its your money, do with it how ever you like.

Well 3-4 here and there adds up. Looking for advice on electric pump or under drive pulley.

Save your money. Spend it elsewhere. Electric pump is only needed for a drag car not for a street car

An underdrive pulley is not a very great $/hp investment, but with that said it is virtually no compromise. it is made of lightweight aluminum and saves about 1 lb of rotating mass while spinning your water pump slightly slower. I have one on my car to go along with an Alt UD pulley, and while the differences may not be as noticable as putting on a smaller supercharger pulley, I cannot see how it wouldn't give me 3-4 hp and maybe .1 mpg's which will help with efficency.

Also, try out Smoothflow Pulleys he is a good guy and can usually beat zzp prices.

From a reliability stand point, isn't there a reason why they didn't spin them slower stock?

Probably just a safety factor for the coolant flow. If you have the UD pulley and run low on coolant you might start over heating before a stock pulley.
