2001 GP 3800 was being jump started when it caught on fire after having an injector stuck open. The upper Intake manifold housing blew up. The car is now put back together it will not start, it cranks fine, gets fuel, gets spark but no run. Anyone have any suggestions.

You confirmed it had fuel at the fuel rail, right?

Use test light to ensure you have power at the injector plugs with key on. Ground is supplied by the pcm to pulse the injector.

Getting fuel to the fuel rail under 60pds of pressure, getting irregular pulse from the test light.

So you do get a pluse when you first turn the key on...then it stops and should resume once the motor is running.
Hmmm that leaves spark and compression. You said you have spark...

Yes, there is both spark and compression. I was thinking maybe a sensor but not sure where to start on the sensors... maybe the NOS?

Put the NOS in GP today and it started right up... and a couple minutes later the motor started knocking sounding like a lifter then it quit. Check the plugs and found antifreeze on them and also in the oil! Now I'm thinking a new motor but I've gotten conflicting information on what years can go in a 2001. The motor is the normal 3800 supercharged. Can anyone tell me exactly what years are compatible?
