pulled my drl module out, again. found these 2 coil like deals inside, it has a metal contact that has a spring holding it one way and then when activated its pulled in by a magnet, so double sided contact.

so i took apart a spare one to make sure it would come apart and go back together. and it did, so when i took mine apart. the contacts were filthy. so i sanded them clean, and we shall see if it works for more then 20 minutes at a time now. a smack has been making it work when it quits working. Mr Boost suggested maybe a broken solder. opened it up and only found those 2 dirty contacts.

85 or 86? My cousin has a really clean 82 GT. It's only got around 50k miles on it.
Thanks it's an 85 which I have owned for 3 years and just recently got it running again. It's got a 87 fuel injected engine in it. Tell your cousin to join us on 4eyedpride.com
Does he have a photobucket account? Would love to check out his GT.

Choked on burnt antifreeze air from my heater because my LIM is leaking on the the crossover again. I got 80K+ out of the replacement Felpro plastic gaskets, I wonder if they have metal gaskets for the series 1 yet. Freakin Oldsmobile, some days I want to push it off a bridge.

Rotating the tires before I go to school. Ill see if that helps my highway speed shakes etc. If not. It goes back tomorrow to place that did alignment.
