drove it to work, and seafoamed it (didnt smoke as much as i thought)

so there's a white Pontiac Sunbird turbo thats been in my neighborhood ever since i can remember, so i passed by today and seen it on a car trailor. they were out front so i stopped and asked if they wanted to sell it, he said he didnt want to. it had a blown head gasket. he said he likes the car alot and wants to keep it. he seemed like a pretty cool guy and was nice about it. oh well maybe ill come across another one who knows.

My whole problem was I was trying to cheat and not remove the pulley that was in the way. My bad. When I removed that pully I could get my deep socket on it.

Delivered papers this this morning. I checked the front brakes this weekend because of some squeaking, and there is still a visible slot, so they didn't have to be replaced. Sprayed them well with brake quiet. Rears were also squeaking bad when backing up, so had the chance to pull the the rear wheels off. The squeak was actually a scrap, as one side's metal bracked was hitting the rotor. The rotor didn't look like it sustained damage, as I was usually only going backwards at 10 MPH max. Put some new brake pads on, no squeak!

A little disappointed that Wearever Silver pads only gave me about 12000 miles. Granted, I am delivering newspapers so I know I'm going to "eat" brakes, but The previous pair of Wearever Silvers I got about 40k, with 5,000 while delivering papers. And there was still a slot in them.
