No, it did not happen in the US, just like the times I have outrun Mexican policia.
Flipped my motor mounts today. Also repainted dogbones, grilles, and coolant reservoir except for a small strip so i can still read the level.

Good times on the way home from a car meet tonight. Put about 4+ bus lengths on a S197 GT from a roll then from a dig. Then a Shelby backed out in the middle of the race. What a *****.
Got to the light and the dude in the GT asked how much power and gave me props. All the while his buddy behind him in another car hollered out the window, "Bro you got ****ed up." Told the dude, it was "just a V6" and thanked him for the race. We both lol'd and went about our way.
Dropped in the new motor and it runs great . More to come.
So, headers didn't go on last time I said they were. This time they are actually on and I'm loving them.
Diagnosed #5 lifter tick. Made the below plan
1. Try seafoam for a few miles and hope it frees up.
2. Buy $300 L26, swap on L67 TB, an L36 fuel rail and drop that into the Regal. I was originally looking for a regular fuel burner anyhow. Trans is new, now the motor will be new.
Picking up a GXP dash cluster for $60 today or tomorrow.
^ That's a steal..paid $100 or so for mine a few years back...well worth it IMO
