Delivered papers again this morning, with someone along for me to "train." He slept for most of the route.
Also discovered the scratch I put on the rear quarter panel the other day when I backed into a mailbox delivering.

Took it to the car wash, vacuumed it out. Cleaned the leather with some MCGuires that didn't work work craaap.
Drove to a 200 mile round trip tried to get a race with a nice looking debadged Audi but traffic really sucked.
Get some zaino leather cleaning, i think its #9 and #10. It's not a god send or anything, but it does help. I usually wet a sponge and wring it out, then apply the cleaner spray and clean it really well. And use a micro when applying the conditioner. It says use it sparingly but I use it like lotion on ashy knees lol.
Speaking of Zaino... I hit the wife's car with some Z-AIO. It doesn't happen often, so I deemed it pic worthy. Haha

I want that Zaino kit but damn It's a lot of money to drop for all that stuff...
zainostore.com sells Zaino products lol
Zaino is worth every cent. Don't get me wrong, the surface will need prepared with compound and finishing glaze prior, but the Z-2, Z-5, and the new Z-CS are the SHAT.
I have 2 bottles of Leatherque 29.95 for polish and 19.95 for cleaner. I may try that. I bought it when I had more money than sense.
Leatherique Rejuvinator? I was curious how that stuff works.. says "Known world wide for its ability to soften even cardboard hard leather.
and since gp "leather" tends to bake.. i bet this would help.
and yeah. 02ws6... i was planning to order the kit with the z2, z5, all that jazz. was gonna get some aio and all that. the whole kit and caboodle. BUT then someone told me zaino'stuff would not work in place of polishing with a buffer, which i don't have. soo that was my plan. i have minor swirl marks..so i was thinkin these polishes might do it up nicelyopinion??
I'll let you know how the Leatherique works. I hope to do something with it this weekend.
Fixed my exhaust better from my raccoon incident yesterday.
How does a raccoon hurt an exhaust.
Ideally, a freshly buffed glass smooth surface will yield the best results. You can also use a claybar to remove surface contaminants then follow the order of applications with good results. Here's a pic of the GP when I actually worked at it for a few hours with a high speed and cleaners, with only Z-2 for the topcoat.

When I got the GP Home I drug her T/A out (we have a meet tomorrow, and didn't want dew to fall on the first half-assed polish job I've done in a year) and quickly realized my suspicions- I'll be up at 5 AM washing this beeotch.

Went to Binghamton to accompany my buddy in buying its future prey, a 04 Durango
I washed it, then drove it calmly around the neighborhood (about 3 miles), which consumed two marks on the gas gauge.
