got my new to me tires installed and balanced, went to the alignment shop, got that done, then notice the one tire is going flat, back to the tire shop, they find the rim leaking, so they say they sealed it, but it dont look good, so its low in 30 minutes again, so i fill it with fix a flat ( and im praying now) i have to go back out and check the pressure in a while.
so if the rim fails im thinking of taking the tire off sanding/scuffing and painting the inside of the rim with bead sealant, any other ideas?
this just has to last till i get new, well new again to me rims. or ill have to suck it up and lay out another 50 for a used rim, witch i dont want to do because i want different rims.
I installed a gtp badge on the grill.
Installed some custom made steering lines:

Did the typical drive to school and back, rocking 22.5 MPG during all 8 stop-and-go miles of the trip.
Then got home and saw something on the forum which caused me to run back outside and check the fuse box and wiring harness under the drivers seat for a little something....
Cold weather isn't too far around the corner and I'll be dayumed if I'm gonna freeze by rear off on the leather!!
Plans are being drawn up hehe.....![]()

I changed the transmission, the lower intake gasket, the supercharger gasket, plugs, wires, and installed the headers. Took about 12 hours with rewelding the exhaust and fighting with the headers. It's really hard to behave now... and when your in Michigan with illegaly tinted windows...
painted the fascia black and vaccumed it all out and put new floormats in...its comming togther really nicely
i bought it!!
FIddled with the FPR. No more code P0172 & gave it a bath. Also somehow lost the lh inner fenderwell plastic the attatches to the bumper, oi...
took a shakey drive home, then waiting for the fed ex guy to deliever my wheel hubs
shake no more.. once it stops raining and i can work on it. (no garage)

bmw time?
I found a good tire shop by me, whenever i needed to replace a tire because it was flat and damaged, before they installed the new tire they would wire brush or grind down the rim and bead seal it just as a normal practice almost.
At one point or another all of my rims have had leakage and over the 10 years or so all the tires have been replaced and of course the rim leakage issues as well, so now all 4 are finally as they should be.
