^ looks great man
we gotta do something about those headlights man... they still look like they are from a Century
thanks.at least you can see through them head lights now. when i got the car they were hazed over bad lol those were literally brought back from the dead.
oh, thats a 5 dollar car wash too. i guess the wax job from the fall time is still there lol love that HF buffer.
i never went to this car wash before, the water jets hitting the car sounded like metal grinding the paint and the rags that hang and spin around were violent as hell. but no damage, just clean like every other car there, scrubbed clean lol
lmao not an insult to you at all, but more to GM. I truly believe the Regal GS models should have came with the tinted headlights
Im at the mercy of the car washes this season. We have a delta sonic here for $18 a month i get unlimited washes. Not bad considering my alternative is those gas-station type car washes.
But spring time sun shine will reveal the true cost of trying to keep the salt under control (car was not supposed to be driven this winter but my winter car crapped out)
That black paint will soon show up with enough swirls to make you crazy....
+1 on the HF dual action buffer. No idea why I waited soo long to get one. It literally replicates the movements of your hands but does it 10x faster. What used to take me 40 minutes per application not counting removal , now takes about 1.5 hours total - and the results - amazing!
that buffer was the best 70 bucks spent ever.
as far as looks go on the regal, its kinda plain to me. ( sleeper for sure) the ass is crazy plain with out some kind of spoiler on there. headlights, i hardly drive at night, so i really dont care much. i was thinking about maybe doing two very light coats of vht to them. but its nothing im chomping at the bit to do. cause i dont want to run hid's, or do retro fits if my light out put suffers from it.
we dont have them fill your tank get a free touch less car wash crap here. we know better and they fail lol touch less is crap your car is still dirty.
so we get lines like mad at all the car washes here, silly long lines. cant wait till spring so i can go back to hand washing it. hell it may not see the car wash again this year, this is its first bath in months now.
Planned it's demise twice .. failed both times.
Last night was some bastages with a truck wanting to park directly across from the driveway I wanted to be in. Asked them nicely if they'd move before I had to 10 point turn to get out. Because.. I wasn't going to do that again.
Today.. Acura from early 2K cut me off. When the chance arose a mile or two later... I pulled a Scotty.
Today I let my wife drive it to work while I took her SUV to carmax to get a bad passenger side air actuator fixed. Anytime she drives it i get nervous. She likes the go fast mods more than me sometimes. Basically, when it's in her possession I assume it's WOT all the time. Scary with all that torque on a 3.3
Which one??
This one? http://www.harborfreight.com/6-in-57...her-69924.html
cuz i was gonna buy a PC, but they have yet to come down in price LoL
I have a HF one sitting in the box i got last year but never bought pads or compound for it.
Guy's I need some advice here. My GTP started making this weird noise. So I took the belts off, and this is what sound it is making. I didn't pay a whole lot of money for this car, but I have wanted one of these for a long time. There is not a thing wrong with the car other than this issue. It's the best example of one these I could find for the money.
I need to know what I am looking at here in terms of how much this will cost to fix or if it is even worth fixing. I'm going to Florida next week. I could just drive back in another GTP if this one if this one is done for. For 2000-3000 dollars I can find a clean rust free GTP again. Then this red one can be a parts car. That would be if this is a serious problem. As the engine warms up the sound gets a little worse. =(
What would you guys do in my shoes? I don't drive this car much. It sits all winter, and I never drive too much in the summer only on weekends. I never drive it in the rain unless I get caught out in it. This was just a fun car for me, and I hate to see it go down hill.
Same price I paid for mine, higher miles, but it looks clean.

Another nice one I could come home with.

This one isn't bad, but needs tail lights right away.

For the mileage and price on this one it would be worth it to get it home and get it painted.

Oops, sorry about that. I changed the settings. I hope that fixes it.

Sold it.
I bought one of those last summer. I cheaped out and got the HF pads for it. Don't do that, they don't last for long possibly because the spindle gets really hot and starts melting the glue on the back of the pad. For the price of the DA though, right now at $60, it's a good deal. I would just suggest better quality pads.
Pair the HF DA with Meguiar's new thin DA pads and you can do some serious correction. It would be all you need.
did some scans with the 05 files in my 98.
KR is at a all time low.
1-2nd shift. one cell of kr at the shift.
2 nd to 3 rd kr right befor the shift.
car has never pulled harder. now theres some KR at the shifts, but it used have KR starting at 3,000 rpm all the way til i let off the gas.
if any one has any idea to try and tune this flash kr at the shifts out, please speak up lol
