Did an oil change and after over a month without washing it shame on me, I gave it a nice detail and also touched up my rims with another 2 coats of plastic dip each. She so pretty now.

I put gas in the car yesterday for 2.909. Put 16.5 gallons of premium in it for $48. Now I need to go buy more groceries and build my pump perks back up. LOL

Yesterday I finished gutting the 40th GTP body. Man, does it look sad now! Decklid will come off right before I scrap it but tthats the last thing. Nice rust-free rockers and towers for a yankee car, but scrap around here. Speak up if you need something, I read the for sale section rules and decided not to post anything there. Who wants a whole 40th interior? I don't. Got almost EVERYthing off the car finally though, and most of the not too large parts are packed into the 99 GT. She sags now fer shur, but once I get the 40th body out of the way I can think about getting the 99 GT back on the road. Meanwhile, the el Camino project rolls on: Next week: glass.

my car is out in the rainmy son crashed his 68 and it is taking up my garage untill we complete its repairs. I wont be doing anything to my car for awhile

Got tires balanced now no more vibrations for now. Alignment was still good. Belle Tire quoted me 466 for 2 front struts, mounts and alignment not too bad but I told him I'll have too pass. Car is like a rocketship in this cold weather but I don't like my MPGs dropping from the weather.

Well been awhile since I've posted because the car has just been sitting while I've been collecting parts.. I have just about everything and I'm gonna start putting it together this week or the week after
So far I've gotten new sub frame, rad support, bumper support, control arms, engine & trans mounts, header panel, & headlights with hids.. Tomorrow I hope to get the bumper & hood. That would leave the air bag system & windshield to be only things left .
Hopefully everything will line up to my liking, I'll be pissed if not lol

A spider almost made me wreck the car. I was on my way to town. I had thrown on a zip up hoody I hadn't worn for awhile because it was chilly and wet out. I am doing 70 down the highway and feel something on my neck. I kind of swipe at it and see a spider land on the seat next to me. I slid my hand back in the sleeve to use it as a glove and grabbed the spider and crushed it.
Now I don't know for sure the spider was in the hoody or if it was already in the car, but I wasn't chancing it and pulled the hoody off while I was driving down the road and threw it to the side.
