Speaking of locking your keys in the car, you guys n gals should get a kick out of this story......
Years ago, my Bronco was my daily driver. I had a weekday off of work and had to do some shopping. I go outside to find snow falling, so I start the truck to get some heat and defrost action, grab the snow brush from the back seat, close the door and start sweeping snow off the truck. 30 seconds later I thought I heard my doors lock. Yup, they locked. The alarm decided to arm itself. Now I'm locked out of the truck, keys, cel phone, wallet, everything is in the truck too. The snow is still falling, all my neighbours are at work. I soon came to the conclusion that I had to take out a window. I chose the passenger vent window, found a piece of 2x4, and SMASH!
What did I learn? I should have taken out the drivers side vent window. The passenger vent glass went across the truck and covered the drivers area. Took me forever to clean it up. I did get to make a cardboard window though.
Good times! LOL
Been driving my dads 06 base model the past few days while mine is still in the body shop. First time driving a wbody since I sold my 98 coupe.
Forgot how tiny these 04+ cars feel on the inside. The 2014 sentra I had for a rental felt way roomier than this. I absolutely love the way the steering feels tho.. I'll miss it a ton when I get my car back.
Finally got around to washing the black GTP. Car wouldn't start today because of dead battery so instead of jumping it like I been doing, I just broke down and bought a new one. Now finally, my HID's don't flicker anymore. I knew something was up with the battery because I even installed a relay kit and the lights still flickered
Lim gasket changed....starting it tomorrow night
Gas leaks after a lim gasket change?
you have to take the fuel rail off right? look for fuel leaks always before starting when its been touched.
Good point... Lol I guess I just leave all the injectors in the rail and move the rail off to the side bc I'm lazy...
still check, as your pulling them out. the rail could have a crack, the injector could come unseated, its free to look, and not burn the car to the ground.
Scotty you should have seen the fuel leak this guys car had at dans house when he swaped injectors. It squirted fuel a good 5ft like a jet.

in that case id say a o ring came out of place. it can happen. look after it first fires up too.
I think it was his fuel rail not sitting right, he previously had to rtv one of the injectors in so it wouldn't leak. I think he ended up drilling another hole so it would sit in a position so it wouldn't leak but I wasn't paying attention. But it was pissing fuel from the injector to rail. That car hated life, his fuel pump wouldn't work, then he clearned the codes he had and it started working LOL I **** you not.

What did you end up doing for center caps? I was going to paint them but my has the "3D Mustang" on it, so I'd just end up with a black horse.
Mine came with flat black ones.
