fixed a issue with my HID system
problem was one of the relay's was made with a power wire a bit too small for the ballast, it would get very warm to touch (55 watt)
so in my mind the cheapest option (free) was to use the power wire from the other relay that handles things fine
did a bit of wire splicing and connected both power wires together just after they come out of the their respective relay's
I beleive this is fine because only one system can be on at a time anyways (high beam or fog's)
I used a wire twist on cap and good amount of heavy duty tape to seal my work
tested it all after and everything works properly
so now I have one power wire with fuse instead of two
Nothing to the GP again. Did trans fluid/filter on the Cavy this weekend. It now shifts when I turn left and on an incline. Did find that the seal where the CV shaft gown into the trans is leaking. Fluid was nice and red for 170k. Not sure if the upkeep was great on the trans, or it was replaced at some point. Oh yea....blew a rear strut in the Cavy too.
Yesterday I took apart my whole dp section of my headers since a new nasty leak popped up from one of the clamps getting scrapped. Realigned and tightened everything back up and also cleaned my tb a bit and reset my battery. Just did little maintainence things. Car seems to run much better especially without that exhaust leak.
Staring at the check engine light still. Guess I either need to disable that or fix the evap canister
Haha I hate the SES light. Mines on now for the first time ever. Two codes...both o2 codes lol. BTW I did have a third but that was because I forgot to region the engine temp sensor back up. That's taken care of now

It would take me about a full minute to fix the light. Well to turn it off.
Headed to exhaust shop now. Pics and video coming later. I'm gonna get new o2 sensors. Do I have to get ac delco ones or will Bosch or ntk from oreillys be fine

Do not use Bosch..they tend to fail quickly in the platform

Finally got the GPS stuff setup on the car. I now have all of North America uploaded, Sygic starts in about 3 seconds, has 3 foot accuracy, and runs about 45-50 FPS on the map. Settings is a little slow, but other than that, I'm happy. I guess my biggest complaint is that I can't turn the GPS volume down. Such a simple feature that they forgot, lol.
I drove it, I'm getting more annoyed of this low fuel light being on, it went from pegging full to empty. But I really don't wanna pull the pump to replace it. Oh well.

So replace the broken part......the pump appears to be working fine from what you are saying.
Last night I helped a buddy over facebook, his 4t65e GRENADED. He said all it had was third gear, but I'm surprised this thing moved. All the planetaries are cracked or shattered. Reverse drum's hardened teeth are bent to ****, 3rd sprag is slightly chewed up and burnt, ring on the input sun gear is GONE, even the channel plate is toast.

Also all my traction and all lights came on while driving. Already found the problem too. Wires that go to front hubs came out of the hub. Good thing it's under warranty
