Smutty is the head master. Or at least parts master.

If he was closer I'd have new exhaust already

Drove it hard to make sure there were no more false oil pressure issues. Also to see how the trans cooler was doing.

Yeah local yards here are no good for that. I found one but they wouldn't lift the car for me. And I'm not stupid enough to try and jack it and crawl under there. It's all rocks and stuff. No sir. No dummy here.

Haha bill you're hilarious. I get the feeling you're mocking people that say little and cheap stuff like that going bad is too much to handle?

And on the one serious note, if that pump is original after all those miles I'd change the whole unit at that point. You know it's not going to last a whole lot longer and will give you problems eventually

I'm still trying to find a diagram or something to figure out where this sensor is in the trans so I can just get it done.

Oh...there's all kinds of write ups that explain what the problem really is.
Brandon ... I forget his name here recently had a big trans redo...which stemmed off what I suggested.
Here's what he found basically..and what I know about needing an input sensor

I still don't have the GP back...which means I have the G6 still. So today after work I swept it out and wiped the interior panels all down...turned my blue rag to brown. It was gross. I have never seen that car collect so much dust. Hell, even sitting at the plant during harvest, my car doesn't get that bad with corn cob dust. Idk where it comes from on the G...as it sits inside most of the time. Then I got real ambitious and used my turtle wax light restore kit on the headlights. They aren't perfect, but are a lot clearer than they were. Lee doesn't wanna buy new ones as it seems like the output of non-stock lights just flat out suck. And these stockers have pretty good output. They really need to come off the car and get sanded a lot better, but that requires taking the front bumper cover off and I don't wanna do it. So I taped it off and sanded the best I could. It worked decent enough.

I just want my car back so I can wash it up and finish cleaning the pre-gens and get some better pictures taken.

No....It's at a shop getting fixed. It all started with a wheel weight that fell off the new wheels. So it went in to get those balanced and such. Then it turned into an oil change and having them do the rear VC as I have no desire to do it. I did the front and that was enough fun for me. I guess he didn't drop it off until this morning. But I've been without it since Sunday.

Edit.... If it was up to Lee, he'd sell the GP in a heartbeat I do believe. He's grown to not be very fond of it lately. Oh well, its paid off and doesn't ask for much most of the time so I'll keep it for awhile longer.

Haha the front was enough for you, if that was enough you should see how the rear requires the alternator bracket to be at least moved, which breaks stock coolant elbows so those need to be replaced. And I don't remember for sure but I think one of the brackets that bolt on the exhaust studs has to be moved. In reality it's a super easy job coming from someone who's done lots harder, but good job on getting out there and doing the front on your own though

I honestly tried to start tearing the rear stuff apart. However, I really struggled reaching back there without literally climbing on the motor and even then I still struggled. And being my only car, I couldn't afford to have it torn down for long.
So far I've done a trans fluid/filter and the front vc along with other misc things. Not to shabby for a girl that doesn't know much about cars except for reading and help on here. I'm proud of myself.

Lee's big deal with it is it leaks oil on his pretty new driveway (I have to start parking on plywood or go to the street), the doors are to damn big (I do agree at times), and he just wants me in something newer. But...meh. It's never left me stranded anywhere and its a cheap dd. So I'm good. If i had car payments he'd have to listen to me ***** about that, so I think he's better off if I keep this one, lol.

I went in series. If I decide to go stand alone it is as simple as cutting the other stock line and moving my double barb to itl
