Ah, the winters ain't too bad, and we do get a lot of bright blue skies from December to March.
The GP is actually a fun car in the snow & ice, drifts real nice around corners and pulls through deep snow well, when good tires are fitted. Only had the car snap on me once in the ice, and I was only doing 20kmh around a bend. For a while it was a toss up between hitting the base of the mountain or dropping into an icy river!
Might as well just have the whole transmission rebuilt
Meh, that's the next step if this doesn't fix my problem. This thing has everything done to it that TEP does to their valve body and channel plates and I got for $150 shipped. I couldn't pass it up, and if I do get a new transmission, I already have a new VB\CP lol
Dedication man lol. I admit transmission is something I won't mess with
So far this stuff is pretty easy, take this out, put this in, tighten to torque, etc. It's when you have to check clearance on parts and all that other BS that I throw in the towel. I know I'd mess that stuff, just because it's my luck.
It stormed all night and my car is cleaner than it was before it rained haha.
Started my comp g for the first time in over a month
not quite
IC and 2.8 for finishing touches?
i need a maf to drop pulley sizes
Ahh that's right.. Well at least it's back on the road!
I gotta check it over really good tomorrow and change the oil and top off the coolant.
I changed my oil in AZ's parking lot in the pouring rain yesterday because I didn't want to drive across the state being overdue for a change.
I change mine every 3k so I wouldn't have either. I would have pulled it under an abandoned gas station lmao
