Just got my order for the intake job I have to do since my 06 GP has the Plastic/Nylon 66 gaskets.
I really believe it has the crappy gaskets and not the aluminum ones due to the previous owner installing them with PINK coolant which IS toyota coolant. I got the Victor Reinz set because of all the stuff that comes with it and I noticed the plastic gaskets are decently heavy and have a steel plate in them but I’m still not using them. I just got to get the AC Delco coolant elbow o-rings and probably sandblast the LIM and UIM. Just in case some people don’t know this but AC Delco outsources to Gates for belts and hoses and other ****. NAPA is Gates **** too.

    Wasn't that one.

    That one was the back.

all brake related bolts are to be made tight. like real tight. caliper bracket bolts get a pipe added to my ratchet. never had a bolt back out in my life.

and ive done more brake jobs then i care to count.

Yeah that's what I did this time. I used a pipe on the ratchet. No one can reopen it again.

Seen a few threads on coolant leaks and elbows so I ck'd mine. No leaks but my antifreeze is showing 0.11 volts on my voltmeter so I need to flush it tomorrow.

Treated her to some fresh bearings and tie rod ends. Now headed out to the track got it all from amazon for 106 shipped. These bearings were 30 a piece with new bolts and harness clips.....more than timken ever gave at 3 times the price.

Replaced the drivers side mirror with one I scored off of Ebay for hella cheap (exact color match too), replaced drivers side switch bezel for one that doesn't have that stupid little top tab broken off and now have all the switches backlit again as well. Also finally scored a full set (F & R) of dark graphite 06 GP GXP seats. Should have those at the house early next week as they still need to be pulled from the car (not a self-serve place). Can't wait to get rid of my stock 00 GP seats w/ 317K on them. Kinda thinking I should replace the carpet as well since the entire interior will be out for the seat install but budget may dictate otherwise.

Well, I was born in the 70's so I could get away with it but would never be able to get my dog's hair out of it, lol... Dang short white hair that seems to stick to anything. Although I am kinda thinking about recovering the headliner w/ graphite micro-suede to match the seats since dropping the liner wouldn't be an issue with all the seats out of the way. Or I could put the shag on the headliner
