Took the wife for ride to the PX on post and enjoyed the sound of the supercharger on the highway, I have been dealing with a broken downpipe for about 4 months now. The turbo mufflers i had put on last year sound sooo nice with a light drone. Feels good that I decided not to get rid of Goldie, I am slowly going to get things fixed.

Seriously, how do you people keep breaking these cars so much? It's a w-body not rocket science.

I try to bit my tounge alot and never post because of what happens on here sometimes.

And really, who buy's mods for there vehicle and then somehow breaks their car right away and then sells the mods they just bought becuase they have zero money to fix said car. If you are poor, just drive it or sell your car all together and buy a huffy.

Easy, it's called learning the hard way. Luckily I've never broken anything that left my vehicle inoperable. I've usually had friends to bail me out of jams, though, and I thank God for those people being around at just the right time.

As to buying parts and having to sell them... does anyone really expect to short the electrical system as part of a LIM job? I sure as Hell wouldn't expect it to happen. I didn't expect it either but when his Regal cranked once and then did a whole bunch of nothing, I was shocked too...

Well it did start then stalled if I remember. I think its probably completely unrelated to the LIM unless a wire got clipped somehow.

You know, I wonder if Clay reconnected the ground that sits behind the two bolts holding the ignition coil bracket to the top of the block, alongside the front valve cover? I was thinking about that today but didn't text him because by that point the tow truck had already been to his place.

I was thinking the same thing too. But isn't that for the the ignition. Seems like the car would still crank just not fire if it was that but then again I have no idea.

Sounds like Capt needs to learn how to set money aside for a emergency fund before he spends money on mods. That way when something goes wrong.. It's a easier pill to swallow. I guess he"ll learn this one way or another.

    ^^ this.

Money permitting, I'll probably always have two vehicles, I'll never go back to one. Even if one is just a beater with a heater, it's cheaper and gives me more peace of mind than tow bills/shop repairs/hitching rides/renting cars.

Yup I have the advantage of having a second vehicle available to drive.. One of the reasons I haven't bothered renewing the tags for the GP yet rather pay some tuition first since I'm not dependent on this car atm.

I also have the second vehicle solution. Plus the spare car of extras I know will fail at some point.

I ordered tire's for it this morning. Should be here Wed or Thur. One step closer to getting the Eibach's on the car.

Washed my engine compartment yesterday. Covered up the delicates, forgot to blow out the spark plug wells...car sputtered and died at low idle twice on the way to work this morning. On to the gas station to blow them out and cross my fingers after work...
