Thought I'd purchased a ZZP GXP downpipe. They declined me for using a different billing addy. The payment is already pending on my Credit account. Spending the morning emailing zzp...

I found a new one of these black trim pieces.

I stapled the rear one back on.

The Prius is faced with the incredible shrinking gas tank problem. From the gas light to the first click nets me only 6.5 gallons. Fighting with it, I can get to 7 gallons. That's enough gas for all week, but still, that's irritating. One of these days I'll rip out the rubber bladder and install a proper gas tank.

Got some new tires from discount tire. Michelin Defenders.

They cost $124 each. I got a $50 discount for purchasing 4 tires(Black Friday sale), $24.80 discount for having AAA, and I'm doing a mail-in rebate for michelin to get $70 off for buying 4 michelin tires. That's a total of $144.80 saved. Not bad at all, but you have to ask for the first 2 discounts mentioned or you don't get them. That's how discount tire operates.

Also I better not get a rim leak after, I watched them swap tires (they're not careful btw, I've changed many tires before) and I personally cleaned my front two rims that leaked and the corrosion was pretty bad. The rears started leaking later for the same reason, and they claim the rims were already very clean, thats why they didn't clean them. I bet they were just as bad as the fronts, they've been on the car just as long without being touched.

Thats a good deal on those tires. I have a slow rim leak that I should have taken care of.

My passenger door didn't unlock. I could hear it trying to but it actually wouldn't. So, I took off the door panel, and replaced the linkage with one I picked up from the junkyard, and it works now. I lubed it up too and it works a whole lot better now.

This part is hard to replace.

Yeah not a bad deal at all. They're good tires too. My rim leak was just from corrosion on the surface where the bead seals on. I use steel wool on the front two and it fixed the leak. I swear the back two have to be just as bad, I can almost guarantee I'm going to get a rim leak, discount tire is famous for letting rims leave corroded and leaking.

My locks get hard to move manually in the winter, when I lubed my window track on the door I replaced, I oiled the lock arm too and it moves a lot better.

Who does manufacture the carbon fiber hoods for the GP's? I know the fiberglass hoods are mostly American Sports Car Designs. Any ideas??

Yeah, we use the 18v set at work n they're really nice, but for $100 more I didn't wanna spend that. I don't think I'll be using them too much so well see how they hold up
