Re: What did you do to your Car today?
I finally got the light back in. I don't think it's good for the winter tho. Where's the best place to put it?
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Right where the airbox sits. The way you have it routed would choke off the air anyway.

Throw out that's garbage tubing!
dont try and reinvent the wheel. Put a cone on end of TB. Maybe a little PVC if ya want. Done.

Re: What did you do to your Car today?
The difference between a HAI and CAI is about 1 hp. You'll never notice the difference.
I used to have a true CAI on my Stealth. I ditched it when I sucked up water, not once, but twice. Went to a short ram/HAI and ran the exact same times at the track.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
So does that.
Plus that rrestricts the air more than anything. And the corrugated pipe causes issues.
Many. And I mean many people do open cone. No problems
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Again nobody has any dyno proof of hot air intakes vs fender well intakes etc. If it were me do it right use keep the pipe straight as possible and headlight level right in the fender it will never suck up water. Something similar to the jmb intake.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
I hit 160,000 miles on my way to the store.
Hard to believe mileage is that high now.

Cold air intake = Easy $150. Hot air intake = $60.
What's the difference? Nothing. You will never notice any difference in power what so ever.
See my signature picture? Make your intake like that. Takes 10 minutes. Easy Peasy and enjoy.

Obviously you never read throughly. That one and other arguments. IMO that test isn't valid till someone gets back AFR correct and other variables.

That time of the month? All I'm saying is there's other cheap alternatives.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
I still believe in having the biggest filter with biggest pipe for the biggest HP gained :) But added more brake fluid to my reservoir after the low brake fluid warning and parking lights were tripped. So far they're gone, guess it was that simple. But will be checking every other day to make sure I have no hidden leaks.
