yeah saw that in the vid, the guy tied it back. he also took the intake tube off, not sure if i need to go that far. it really does look like its almost ready to come out.
lots of dumb plastic shields all over this engine.
i just replaced my heater hose connectors they kept breaking on me so now i have aluminum ones. id like to meet the dumb ass who said he lets put plastin in an engine block and see how long it lasts as engine coolent eats away at it and it gets hot and warped by the heat
Picked up new supercharger gasket and oil from the dealer for $60, i was surprised it was cheaper than buying online. Now just need ups to hurry up and bring me the supercharger. lol
started it , drove it, parked it
hahahahahahahaha
Shopped around for parts today. The car and my bank account need to have a come to Jesus meeting and get on the same page. Holy moley.
moved her out of her usual crappy parking spot to the parking lot down the street so all this rain won't rust her out as bad...
lost my wallet and needs gas bad!
Took her up to 110 a couple times to clean the pistons off.
Went to start my car this morning and the doors were frozen. Got to have fun climbing in through the trunk to start it lol.
Yesterday I got as far as getting the heat exchanger on. Ordered an inlet turndown adapter this morning.
Question....how easy is it to remove the front seats?
It looks to be just a few bolts and lift off the track? Driver seat would obviously need unhooked from power source.
I'm thinking this spring if its easy enough to do by myself I may do that so I can shampoo the carpet really well. They are probably just more awkward than being heavy?
Two 15mm bolts. Slide forward and unhook. Easy peasy
Oh and the bolt for the seatbelt. I think it's a ten
Sounds simple enough. I will have to try that.
When I was sweeping it out the other day I noticed how stained the carpet looked. Hopefully a good shampoo would help.
Mines needs one badly as well.
I typically powerwash the carpet. Works like a champ.
