hmmm is it worth while to swap the LIM and replace the coolant elbows at the same time? Not sure the best way ahead. I have all the parts for a LIM and the metal coolant elbows.

Cool, So I cleaned out an area by the LIM mounting bolt and it filled back up. It does that around all those bolts which led me to believe that it was LIM gasket. Thanks for the quick replies!

when you do the lim job clean the lim bolts, and put thread sealant on them. your valve covers may be leaking too.

The bolts go into the water jacket with 16psi of pressure and also into oil return areas w/o pressure. Oil and coolant can wick up the threads of the bolts. I'm sure your gasket will look crappy, however it's not the only possibility.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Aw man, dude lube again? lol

Laundry list today, healing up the beaten and neglected GTP. I been driving it hard and putting it away wet, there was a couple pounds of salt and mud piled on just the floor in the garage. Car had a couple more hidin'.

Bucket wash + hosing out salt underneath, oil & filter change, more touch ups and gap n' lamp adjustments, a little bit of polish on a rag, etc. Picked up trash inside it and also took the BBS off so I could clean it and make a new clutter-catcher for it from a vacuum cap, the OE foam thing was long goner. Found six clips for the bottom of the bumper cover, wiped bondo dust off the interior, put shiny on tires and well take a look... she runs good!

The flat spot over the RF wheel was already there and still is. the RH HL and combo lamp look a little bug-eyed but the superglue is holding and it isn't blinding folks. All is as it should be except for my woohoo SIR crap. Anyhow, thats where I had to stop for today. Arm is on fire somewhat, still. Oh and yes I aired up that left rear. Thinking about a set of Altimax RTs. No mods, no tint, no low, its a dud but I enjoy it. Wish the grape one wasn't parked at the shop, its nice out.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.
