It's nice and warm down here in central Texas 75*, enjoyed the A/C with the new tint. Stopped by the parts store and picked up a 180* t-stat. Going replace that and do a flush this weekend.

I had the drivers side CV Axle replaced, which was broken in 4 places. Also had my rear passenger caliper replaced, which is now not red like the rest of them. So it looks like I'll be buying black caliper paint and painting all 4.
U bend delete...
I cleaned out my trunk. I had so much unnecessary crap in there. My ass sag isn't nearly as bad now I probably took 100#'s out of the back.
Bought an aeroforce today.. Gotta get a boost guage and HUD pod and my SLP spoiler painted..
Bought some GPO grills and waiting for the weather to decide if its going to rain or not so I can wash her.
Took it for a drive and picked up some sand paper to clean up some tinted tails I got, then as I walked out of the parts store I noticed a new product called Black Tire Coat from Turtle Wax. The parts rep told me the stuff was awesome till he drove down a dirt road. The display tire was cool, so since I get a military discount, I thought why the hell not and bought it. Just wondering if any of yall have tried this stuff before I open it.

Noticed that my pass rear strut is bad (making noise over bumps and is an inch lower than the other 3 corners of the car). Now deciding replace just the one, or save up for all four and upgrade to kyb gr2's? I know which one is the correct way, but its also the more expensive route. Lol. But im also being talked into lowering it so I suppose all new struts would go nicely with a drop. Uuugh, where am I gonna find the money for all this? Lmao
Washed it for the second time this week, only to have it covered with pollen and bird $#!+, again :th_angry2:.
i drove it to the beer store.. then came home, cracked a beer and fixed my mistake from the other day... gonna wet sand the spoiler now and get ready to get er done!
Just spent the last 4 hours washing, claybaring, washing, buffing with compound, breaking my buffer, running to autozone to pick up another, finish buffing with compound, buffing with polish, then finally waxing. Looks amazing now even with a $20 buffer.

Drove it down to Indy for the boys state basketball game. Afterwards, came out to the parking garage and a super sexy silver 04+ comp g was parked next to us.
Washed it now thinking about steps to bring paint back to life
Put the new rear main seal in and housing. Started torquing it down... started with 150 inlbs only to have the new gasket push out in the corners right by the pan bolts... Everything was super clean too. Oh well Monday is another day as I'm heading up north with the wife for a break tomorrow.
On a side note anyone know where i can get just that gasket without having to buy the oil seal.
I also found a new way to cut the spring perches off for the coilover conversion .. I'll post some pics and start a new thread when i go full bore on that..

Went ahead and changed the oil pan gasket today. Time spent: 3.5 hours and that includes the time it took to get a new motor mount in and cleaning parts along with installing new exhaust hangers. :) So hopefully no more leak and no more clunky clunk. Also went and bought another intrepid to pull the motor out of for the one that is in my driveway.
