thats all local stop and go. 25 and 30 mph driving. lots of short trips too. it needs help......
My mileage sucks too. My drive is 4 miles to work so that doesn't help. I have been averaging 17 mpg lately due to that. On the trip to Clay's though I probably got 22 or 23 mpg and it was only that low due to the mountains. We'll see how it does on the trip to Ohio later this week.
i also did a power head swap and carb swap on a hedge trimmer. trimmer engine has no spark, the case bolts would not budge, allen heads, broke the key off inside one, that was that. F it off to option B lol
had a weed whacker that failed to run right. it had been sitting for years. i sprayed wd-40 in the carb, it fired up and sputtered. added gas it ran but not well would stall out.
so did a carb swap from the spark less trimmer, that made the weed whacker run, then took the engine off the trimmer and put the weed whacker engine on it.
its a winning kinda day.
I'm getting over 21 now that school is out and the oil stays warm. I also believe I noticed an increase in mileage when the alignment was fixed, might be crazy but nothing else changed. Running the compressor or not doesn't seem to make much difference. Anyhow yeah I replaced my coolant temp sensor today, after the tails swap. Old one was broken, causing the fans to not run enough. So far, so good. Seems like the computer wants to keep it at 207-208F. I'm glued to that temp gauge this week though.
Saw the first E85 pump in my neighborhood today. In recent months they have been adding stoplights and stores like wild all around my home. In a week or so the new exit off the interstate about 2 miles away will open up. This is after they plopped down a ballpark that shoots fireworks after 10PM on weeknights. I moved here because there was still pastures scattered around dadgummit. Must bail.
Did the smoke test on my intake to find that crankcase leak, using my fx fog machine and a hose going in the brake booster vac line. Right away smoke came out of the back side of the motor, I tried more smoke but couldn't get any more to come out which was weird. So I hooked the air compressor right up to the vac line with an air gun, and could feel the air coming out. Turns out that a bracket I removed from the LIM had a bolt that goes into the head. Little did I know that the bolt hole goes all the way through and into the valve cover area, so there was a bolt hole open to the crankcase, allowing water in when I sprayed the engine. So I got the bolt back, cleaned it up and rtv'ed it, and put it back. It's all good now. Then out of curiosity I put air in the intake afterwards to check for any other leaks, I heard one in the front of the engine, eventually finding out it was the oil filler cap o-rings don't seal well after a few psi is in it. Not a big deal to me.
Noticed my Springs sit lower on the passenger side than the drivers side. What gives? I'm on Ssc.
Gain more weight to even it out :P
Ctfu never lol
Other than me stuffing my face with tacos and packing on pounds lol what else can I do
Have a really big couple get freaky in the drivers seat.........or wait and see if it settles down in the next thousand miles or so. Other than that you installed them right right?
Lol. Yea I did.
Have a fat girl sit on your lap until they settle enough?
So I'm looking to replace my ac compressor on my 98 gtp wat other year grand prixs will have an ac compressor that will fit?
