I just sent an e-mail to TEP asking for advice on my transmission. I hope he doesn't just say "buy a new transmission." that could really ruin my day, lol. The 1-2 shift was perfect with the old valve body\cp, but TCC was screwed up. Now the TCC is fantastic, and the 1-2 shift is screwed up. If only I could have the best of both worlds. That would tell me the problem with the 1-2 shift is something to do with the new VB\CP, I just need to track down what is wrong...without tearing the transmission apart 1500 more times. In the mean time I'll keep working OT to try and save for a new transmission, lol.
Unless he goes up to a 4.0

This topic is one of the reasons I left W-body. They argued left and right saying KR on a stock pulley is not a problem at all and should be left alone. I was the only sane one so I looked like the idiot. That and they say headers have no impact on KR either. Drove me nuts, lol.
thats a group alright....group of what? idk lol
Tell me about it. I gave them a chance for a few months and there are some really cool guys over there. Thankfully they are either here or at GPONA. Now those other guys...yeah, they can stay right where they are at or I can only think of one other place they can go...
whoops, forgot ya there. Next time I'm up there I'll have to look into those, never know when I might crack mine since I don't have a 1/4" torque wrench (or a 1/2" | 3/8" to 1/4" adapter)
Changed the oil & filter, trans fluid and filter, sway bar end links, and charged the ac on a guy's ram. Rustiest truck I've ever worked on and it's an 03
on the one RAM my cousin has it has 16 spark plugs it's weird.....because racedodge.

There was some old truck (Datsuns I think) that had 8 spark plugs on a 4 banger. I think the second set was for emissions or something of the sort. I'm sure it was a cross-firing nightmare. My neighbor used to have one and got a kick out of it every time he popped the hood.
a lot of the ford 2.3L had 8 spark plugs
Cleaned the last 3 pregens. 1 is not in veru good shape and wouldn't come clean.
The problem wheel after 3 scrubbing sessions.....
All in all tho....they really aren't bad for being 20 yrs old and I think 280k miles of being not cared for.
I still have to polish, wax and seal them. And I wanna take them and have the balance checked before I put them on. And I've got some rust work to do on the car while I have driver rear wheel off. But at least they are clean now.
And I still haven't picked up those sticks in the yard that Lee wanted me to pick up..... :-P
what sticks? i got wheels to clean. bug off fella lol
