Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Wow man. I read your thread about the readys when I was trying to go through inspection with my 03. I had p1133 stored and thought i wasn't gonna pass. But my readys gave no problem. I hope you get it figured out man, seems you've been battling it for a while now.

Dont ever let your battery die, homey! Everytime I get close....the battery dies and I have to start all over. But, I removed the alarm/remote start that drew enough current to kill the battery within a few days and reinstalled my remote start that has no draw until I push the button. I just need that catalyst to show ready. If it doesnt after the next time I take it out, its on the 'for sale' threads and I'll have a G8 in my garage.

really?? i think mine is weak. in 30ish weather it turns over slow. but what exactly starts over? mine passed inspection fine. i KNOW he had to have heard my exhaust leak and smell raw fuel and he handed me my passing forms and said "you're good man" and i laughed my way out the driveway

It is your system monitors in your PCM. EGR, Catalyst, EVAP, O2 sensors..etc. Every time the battery is disconnected or dead, the systems reset. Usually you can drive 40 miles and they are all ready. But our cars are special and can take up to 2000 miles. And 2000 miles is a years worth of driving for my car.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
oh wow. i mean ive unplugged my battery a couple times and passed with no problem.
Matt was tellin me a while back ago if the readys weren't set the car would be actin weird. but i really dunno
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Well damn. It is always my calalyst monitor that Im waiting on. I'd like to think my catalytic converter is bad, but I have no symptoms of that. For the last 2 years my readys havent been set and I havent noticed any difference in the way the car runs. Smooth idle, smooth acceleration, smooth shifts...still breaks the tires loose if I punch it at 30 mph.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
psh. im 3.4ed and if i punch it at 30 it doesnt break them loose lol. im jelly.

Traction conrtol button does wonders, jk. BTW I'm 5.3'd and if I have Stabilitrak and TC off and punch it at 40 it breaks them loose :o
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Prolly cuz you're running the headers now. Ive heard that they drop the low end torque. Im on a 3.3 ported s/c with ported manifolds. But, Im sure my timing is pulled dramatically, cuz I have 0 kr.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
yeah. come to think of it i think on my 30 wot run i did i didn't turn TC off i forgot. and all my other wot adventures around town weren't legit. idk i need to go play with it late at night one day. i try not to beat on it lol
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
My TC is always on...I use the Trac light as a signal that I need to back off.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Changed the tranny oil and filter, replaced the thermostat, and installed new supercharger and alt belts!

Re: What did you do to your Car today?
There is a thread about how to get all the tests to run.... just saying.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
I know, I made one. But those procedures are really not possible around here.
