Haha like a life's mission finally completed the day you got it. I spend all of a few months and kinda overpaid, really overpaid comparing to yours. You must have bought it from an older couple or something

Yup older couple 50s ish who didnt want it anymore after moving to MI. Its a FL car and was brought to MI in May.
They had a new 4x4 durango. They must be scared of the snow lol.
Oh nice so they brought it to you lol. I bet you jumped on that instantly.
Yes! It wasnt for sale for more than a day or two. I was a bit skeprical at first but after hearing thier story being the original owners and how rust free it is. I knew it was the real deal and a carfax confirmed it.
Nice. Well it's in good hands, hope it's good to you. I'm glad some slob didn't get it and treat it like a lot of GP's around.
New battery wipers and a full tank of gas in the van and a tank of gas in the comp g. I'm now poor.
Ported the LIM, porting the Gen V currently, deleted the egr, mocked up the coil pack relocation and the IC to see about clearances. Looking like everything is okay so far.
Why are you porting the Gen V? Everything I've read says it's useless to port them, no gains are made at all?
Because I'd prefer it match my intercooler and LIM. I'm removing the H bar, and smoothing the inlet/filling the EGR divot
Who said anything about taking it apart?
You're porting it with the rotors still in it? What aboot the metal shavings and such?
^ what that guy said
That just helps port the rest of the motor out.
Soaked a bunch of rags with WD-40 and stuffed them in any openings, then used some badass tape to mask everything off. only about 5% of the blower was visable. Once it's done and the tape/rags are removed, I'll obviously look for any shavings/dust inside the blower. If i see one spec, i'll pull it apart and super clean everything.
Car got stuck in the snow, got out so my girlfriend could get in the drivers seat and I could push while she hits the gas, forgot the car was in drive so when we both closed our doors the doors locked. With the keys in the ignition, car running, phones inside the car, my big jacket in the back seat and 25 degree weather outside. My night couldn't of got any better.
