I put a ZZP PCM and a 3" catted downpipe. About same gas mileage as before. averaged 29.3 according to DIC at 70-75 mph Was getting 32+ at 60mph through madison
Calculated by hand last tank, 75% city with awful cold weather - got 17.7mpg (DIC said 18.2)

Filled up today. 152 miles, used 14.3 gallons which = 10.6 mpgs.

My lowest avg yet, I was impressed.

Make sure you are dividing by fuel used, not the whole size of the tank. Unless you run it bone dry and kill the pump once a week.

Every weak I drive 170 miles
    Seattle to Portland.

    170 = half a tank
    Full tank is 340
    Divided by 18 capacity.
    Is 18.8

I need to figure out how to change the plugs maybe it would help.

Are you just going by the gauge ? That is very inaccurate.
Fill it up until the pump clicks off, no more.
Drive it down below 1/4 , fill up again.
That will give you the actual gallons used.

I'm getting 420 miles a tank, that's with 2 cold start ups a day, letting it run 3 minutes and then drive 62mph for 1 hour and 15 minutes one way.
damn the 19.4-6.8 fahrenheit weather, in the summer I get 500miles a tank.

15 around the city is pretty good but remember the DIC is not very accurate. A good test is on the open road with cruise on then you will know for sure

I average 15-16 with my GTP but that is mostly 4-5 mile trips through town. Highway I can get almost 25.

Stop and go traffic? 15 to 18 is very good mileage around the city. My car gets very good gas mileage on the highway, maybe 29 highway but around town stopping at stop signs and lights, I am lucky with 15 to 18 MPG and no lead foot either. One thing I have noticed, the car has to get up to temperature, My car doesn't get up to temp because I am only driving maybe 2 miles one direction

Yes I am pretty sure he is tripping or he surely isn't driving an 02 GTP. I have a 2002 coup GTP with 57K on it and the best around town is maybe 20 and 28.5 on the highway. Driving at a conservative 72 on the highway. That is winter time! My 2000 Red is just the GT with 80k and averages maybe 15 to 18 city and 28 highway
