pretty much, yes. however it isn't that hard once you know how they go together.

Nah, I helped make some custom pieces up here for some of the S10s in the area. I want to put my little Escort on bags, but I'd have to figure out how I planned on laying out on 18's in a compact car. :/
Jeez, the available 'kits' are a little spensive... 97-03 Grand Prix, 00-06 Monte Carlo, 00-06 Impala and 97-02 Century Combo Kit | JPKustoms Inc.

Yeah, I guess I'm used to doing things on a budget. Eh.. It's not as bad as SOME kits I've seen. All depends on the quality of the product IMO. Static drop is fine and dandy, but you gotta figure out dampening rates on shocks and spring rates to avoid a ****ty coilover ride.
Z-section the sub frame!!!
See on a frame-off I can do what's needed, C-notching, the works.... This unibody crap is GREEK to me, but I know I could make it all work. I helped work on ALL the bagged trucks S10's, ranger, toyota, etc...
i have plans to tub out the fenders to give myself a lot more clearance to run whatever i want and to be able to drop the car all the way down to the ground. other than that it's just a matter of making sure the axles clear and that you arent setting the exhaust on the ground before something else (welded in magnesium rails for some sweet spark action, yes?). the fenders will obviously need to be rolled and pulled, but if you've gone that far i hope you'd know you'd need that.
then the hardest part after that is making sure your strut/spring/bag assembly is short enough to actually get that low, which is kind of the easy part.
yea i looked at a bag kit for my wagon...9k for the stg 3 super awsome kit. 2k for you make it work kit.
So, it came time for some new tires, and I decided to get some rims with them. I got 15,000 miles on my last set of tires. The guys at the tire shop were saying that I must burn out a lot...........

^^ Looks good. Need a drop on it though.

and hes on coilovers, watch the video at the end, its pretty cool
My preference. If I were to go more than that, I'd bag it.
I hate going over speed bumps in my car, feeling like a hanicapped retard!

Only 1.5"? My Eibachs dropped the car at least 2" and speedbumps are no problem unless I have the backseat loaded with people.
I wouldn't want to mess with airbags. They're more work than I'd want to do for a normal drop.
