Where are your door handles? Did you do some kind of aftermarket keyless system? Did body work cover the door handle cut outs?
That car isnt even around anymore, nor is the member.
But yes, he had the body shaved along the sides, no more moldings or door handles and same with the front bumper. The front plate filler was worked in as one solid piece.
Pretty sure they welded the door molding holes shuts and welded metal in for the door handles too, then the rest is body work to clean it up. Unsure if he used door poppers on the bottom or what kind of system he had setup.
Green wheels on race bagel.
4x4 for lyfe yo
This truck was built by a local shop up the road from my work, they do all sorts of old school car and trucks.
It's built pretty nice and lots of custom work done to the front and rear, all new custom interior, fuel cell etc etc etc.
Still needs to be finished as the trans pan leaks and the headers leak like crazy, fan runs on and off on it's own and kills the battery. But it sounds awesome and runs pretty good.
We did the alignment as it runs a mustang 2 front end parts and diag'd the AC system and got it running.
that tailgate/taillight setup is knarly
A lot of times they will put a magnetic switch where the old handle would be and the owner would have a special key that has some sort of magnet in it and that will pop the door open so you can get a hand in there to open it the rest of the way. Not saying this is how he did the GP, but i have heard of it being done that way. It is a beautiful car though for sure.
Figured I would post a pic of my rides, here is my 08, just bought it almost 5 weeks ago and have already put american racing rims on it, new stock headlights and just picked up an spo spoiler and spo nickel plated grill inserts last night and hoping to get them on this weekend. Update Spoiler and grills added
