Or you could just bolt it together without a gasket to go get your gasket. It will be louder than normal, but not open downpipe loud.

re-use the old exhaust gasket and put copper rtv on both sides of gasket. should hold well.

Old gasket came out in dust...

the P.O. put in a F***ing fence post in place of the resonator and pretty much screwed that flange... Anywho, it was just the second time i'd had the downpipe off (o2 sensor stuff) and didn't want to do a third.... Threw it back on anyway, gasket maker was a very smelly idea and didn't do much but the car isn't horribly loud (I did run it with ONLY the DP for the hell of it!) but I still need to go grab some gaskets....

Was it a wooden or a steel fence post?

    WOODEN!

It does give the exhaust a nice earthy note, guitars are wood, so why not exhaust ?

    Obviously kidding,

I'll find a pic and post it up

Cut the flanges off and weld a V Band, then no worries about gaskets ; )

lol, serious though, AutoZone or Advance has gaskets... Or the mud/clay muffler repair fix that hardens when heated. Or at the very least, A bead of Red RTV, let set for a few hours, then clamp and go!
