Does anyone know how often ZZPerformance re-stocks their inventory? Specifically the 3" catted down pipe? Currently only the 2.5 inch is available.

They make more than ZZP's 3" downpipe. Here's some.

I am in no way suggesting or vouching for their pricing.

you should email zzp directly and find out from them, they are usually pretty quick to answer back on those types of things.

you could buy the off road 3 inch pipe, then add your own high flow cat off ebay for like 50 bucks.

ZZPerformance now has the 3" downpipe in stock. I was wondering, if I install the 3" downpipe, is a tune required? The only mods that have are the CAI and would be 3" downpipe.

no tune needed unless you get a cel for the high flow cat. then you can try to fake it out, or get a tune.

So basically I would need an HP Tuner to clear the CEL to keep it from coming on? There's a way to fake it out?

you get two anti fouler s and put the in between the o2 and pipe, pulls the sensor out of the exhaust flow, aka faking it out.

Is it just a matter of keeping the CEL off? Or does it actually cause the car to misfire, etc?

keeps your year car from running the cat test over and over and then it over fuels the engine.

So is this a it may or may not happen kind of thing? Or on some cars it will trigger the CEL, and some cars everything will run as normal?

I'm just trying to get an idea if I should have the non-foulers ready to go, or do you wait and see if the CEL comes on? What have others done that have installed the 3" downpipe on these engines?

only one way to find out what your car thinks about it, and thats to just drive it and wait to see if the cel turns on or not.
