yes. the zzp bolt in dp bolts right up and where it connects to the catback, it downsizes to 2.5" to bolt right up. ZZP has the option to make that part 3" if you have a 3" exhaust

yea, i installed it today. i dont really like the buzzing sound it makes. is that because i have a straight pipe instead of a resonator? Should i put a gp? if so what would be the best? I have 3"straight dp to 2.5" catback with magnaflow muffler and tip. Also cold air intake. This is my first project but it is also my dd and im new to this.

correct yes u r right i did have that thread, but there was a sound like a heat shield vibrating and i found out the ressy was bad internally so it was cheaper to just eliminate. Now i have the money to put one on and was just wondering the best route to take. I guess they said to get the longest possible. what is the difference?

Hello everyone, I put a 3 inch ZZP catted bolt in down pipe on yesterday and WOW! what a difference it makes! I took it to a local muffler shop (Affton muffler and brake stop) they put it on for $100 and welded a flange onto my existing pipe on the car so I can unbolt the down pipe if needed. When you get the pipe it had a flange and exhaust hangers welded onto it already. With a 3.4 pulley back on in place of my 3.5 I am getting 0* KR in 1st gear, and around 4000-4500 it starts to climb from 0-2* peak in 2nd gear right before the shift. Before on the stock down pipe I was getting from 0-5ish degrees on KR starting at 3000rpm in every gear. Well worth the money, I asked for my stock cat back and took it down to southern metal processing and they gave me $91 CASH for it so only a $9 install
MODS: u bend delete, resonator delete, 3 inch ZZP bolt in catted DP, PLOG, 180* stat, Dogbone flip, CAI, AL 104's gaped at .052, ported blower, 3.5 and (3.4 current pulley) PCM tune by STL98GTP
