Could be a few things. Could be a clogged cat, or the trans is really toast. Have you driven it at all?

no not yet waiting for her to get a replacement title she said it drove normal the night before then went to leave for work backed out of her drive way and it just wouldnt go over 30 mph

This thread has so much detail it's amazing.
Way more information is needed. Can you select first gear or second gear and reach over that speed?
Does it have ANY power down low from 0-25mph?
Any codes?
Has a shop or you scanned for transmission faults?

look just doing some checking i gotta wait for the title she said it drive normal but doesnt shirt and doesnt go over 30mph its my first gtp so just stepping in to a little i want to check everything before i buy a transmission

no she lost the title so shes getting a duplicate title im picking it up either tomorrow or friday
