you will not find any TTY bolt at a hardware store.
Google has betrayed me! Haha ok.

Gm dealer will have them or can order them
Why are the reusable bolts NOT being used ?
where is this information ?
dude you keep posting this crap and misleading people
i been using the reusable bolts for YEARS and so have the locals here with NO issues
Who me? I never said I wasn't going to use my reusables, I was only taking what they said into consideration and asking where I could buy tty bolts ;) I'm not sure if that misleading comment was aimed at me but I have these rockers sitting right here ready for my lazy ass to go get them in ;) http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...9e216a1a94.jpg

No. not you. I need to get better at remembering to use the "quote" feature.
Eh it happens. Honestly I'm probably going to reuse the intense bolts that are in my car already, no need to buy new when I got what I need. Does anyone know what the difference in stock pedestals and the ones that come with er rockers is?

Just so I'm on the same page , is your car n/a?
if I remember correctly you sold 1.9s , then wanted a cam, sold the cam and now just doing the ER rockers?
If the rocker bolts you already have are the reusable type then you're fine. Make sure to clean the holes with q tips and get the proper torque specs for the bolts
Yes my car is n/a, yes I sold my 1.9's (I explained why a few reply's back) I bought a gt cam and couldn't justify pulling the lower intake and lifters again after it was just done for lifters and gaskets. I know my gains from the cam would have been more satisfying but we all know I have an n/a (and owned a few modded l67's) so I'm never going to be satisfied haha so er rockers it is. I have reusable bolts on the stock rockers right now so I'll just use those when I put these on.

2 years?
have you had a concussion recently?
25 ft/lbs vs 11 plus stretch for stock and 30(?) for the prj ones
never once had one break. I've re used mine numerous times
I've broken at least 2. Brand new bolts too. I know others that have done the same. That's plenty for me to advise others to steer clear of them.
Then you're an idiot if you're breaking rocker bolts or your torque wrench isn't accurate
Yeah, I'm the idiot here. I love you guys. You have no experience and cannot find any information to prove me wrong, so you revert to name calling.
I've installed a couple hundred of the comp bolts over the years. I've broken 2.
I've installed about double of the stock bolts, many times reusing them. Never broke a single one.
You installed 24 sets of rockers using reusable bolts ? Roughly 48 MORE sets using TTY bolts ? So 70 times you installed rockers? Ok lol
edit. I read that wrong or you changed it from a couple dozen to couple hundred
jesus dude - I mean it was funny when it was about 70 sets but now - I think you're just gone full tard on us
Oh boy what did I do haha take it easy guys. No one is an idiot we just all have what has and hasn't worked for us, I thank you both for your input.
