    Well from what I have taken from searching this forum I need to clean my maf sensor. Which i have done in the past.After that I am not sure where to go. And suggestions on what to do next? Thanks for the help in advance

    CRC MAF sensor cleaner, got mine at Advance

    Cleaned it and then I cleared the code a few weeks ago. Code hasnt came back till now.

    That code has nothing to do with the MAF though.

    The interwebs says it's a EVAP code, not a MAF related code.

    So you though cleaning the MAF would fix a EVAP problem? Not sure I'm following you there.

    Well it's gotta be the evap canister solenoid. I taped on it last night and when I started the car today the check engine light is off. So.......... what do to yall think the solenoid right???

    Is there a walk through on how to test the evap canister solenoid and the purge valve with out any type of scanner tool?

    Well I smacked the evap canister with a screwdriver today and when I started the car the check engine light didn't come on lol
