Strut mount, bad control arm bushings maybe or loose steering rack come to mind.

    Inspect them first.

The front round bushing is easy to spot if they bad, they pull through the metal sleeve. Ball joints don't go bad as often but you can check for play. If everything checks out, then I wouldn't just replace them as it's not really needed.

I almost lead more towards a strut mount bearing issue but that's only a guess and I don't have the car infront of me.

It's also worth check the body brace bars under the hood, if those are loose they will clunk when the body flexes.

Well ill tell you what, when I painted my two brace bars on my grand prix i had, i would get front end noise just like yours. It drove me NUTS. I ended up not getting one of the bolts all way down, it was one turn from being all way tight, it happened duing speeds less than 25, especially when turning. Sometimes i would turn, makes the noise, im going straight speeding up, makes the noise. was not always when turning. Only when i was 25MPH and below, once i got on highway or a 45 speed limit road, i was a-okay.

Nope, the strut to radiator support bars.

If those bolts are loose, they will clunk as the body twists.
