Hey guys. I noticed last night coming from LA, every time i step on the gas to accelerate the car starts shaking. When I let off the gas its fine, or if i accelerate very slowly its ok. But just trying to pick up normal speed from a stoplight makes it shake. 02 Grand prix SC. Any idea what this could be?

Sounds like a bad cv axle.

75 for a new one. if your doing your own work. what a shop would charge? dont know. dont use them myself. my guess is over 200 tho.

theres a how to here for changing them, its not all that bad.

If you can do the repair yourself, it only costs you as much as a new axle.

They only run about 70-80 bucks for a new cv axle from a parts store.
