So, putting all new plugs and wires on my '04 GTP. Also, doing headers in the very near future with a full 3" exhaust. Future mods this summer are rockers, e85, a slight pulley drop, and of course a tune.

Can I plan for these mods and run a certain type of sparkplug suited for those mods, now, or will I just have to change it in the future to accommodate those mods? Whichever one, looking for recommendations for the better sparkplug/wires combo.

    Thanks

Stock wires and 605's should be fine.

I don't see a real need to drop 2-3 heat ranges on plugs.

    Okay, sounds good, thanks.

I'm seeing a lot of choices here for sparkplugs..., so, just go to the parts store and ask for AC Delco 605s for my car?

And, aren't 605s one heat range colder? Also, is it true that copper is the best for S/C'd?

Copper autolite 104's are the way to go after some mods

Should I just run http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000C2...e+autolite+606 for now, then switch later when I go beyond headers and exhaust?

AC delco doesnt make 605's, they are a autolite brand.

Modded 3800's like copper core plugs. Heat range depends on power level and boost level. If you plan to run e85, that's already going to remove heat from the cylinders and a reason to not need to run a even cooler plug.

I ran both 605's and 104's with a 3.6/headers/intake/tune and 93 octane gas, didn't notice any change. So I just stuck with 1 heat range cooler.

Yeah, I'd run the Autolite 606 plug for the basically stock setup now, and then when you start modding do an Autolite 104.
