Does anyone make a programmer/info center for the 2003 3.1 GP? More or less looking for a display of coolant temps, oil temps, engine temps, etc. Possibly tuner programmer.

People here like to use the torque pro phone app with a OBD 2 post dongle thingy. It works for just about everything you want to see.

No scanner or programmer will ever read oil temp though, there is no sensor on these cars for that.

You could also buy DHP Tuner or HP Tuners software to have as a programmer but to me there really in so sense in tuning a 3100 unless you want to turbo it or somthing.

I'd rather not "chip it" per say due to just wanting it to last as long as possible. I'm assuming you also have to buy an OBD plug in for the torque pro?

There are no "chips" to install on cars like these anyway, that's just some term people who lived in the 90's used because that's how basic computers worked, they burned new chips to run whatever mods they did.

The two software programmers I talked about are used with a laptop and you just flash new data into the computer if you wanted to make changes.

Your car already has a OBD 2 port in the car, it's under your dash on the drivers side close to the center console. There are a few threads on here about that torque app and what you'd need to buy to make it work.

There's another one called the ultra gauge that plugs into the obd and like a gps, suctions to your windshield. That's what I'm looking for.
