Without spending a lot? Don't know... But forum sponsor TEP who knows these transmissions better than anyone should be the first place to look for info and pricing. If you are doing the work yourself, then you can probably buy parts from TEP or source them yourself.

take it out of overdrive, why you want higher rpm's? thats just a waste of gas.

gears, labor to install and the tune for them will not be cheap.

    ^^^this^^^

    and also...

    Cheap/Fast/Reliable

you can have only two at any time, chose wisely... Example - cheap/fast is not reliable, cheap/reliable isn't fast... Get the picture!

question: what is your intent to have more rpm's @ 55mph?

You left out a lot of info., like what engine, what mod's, etc.,

At 55 mph car only turned 1500 rpm with headers and cat delete it quite r turning more rpm it would be more responsive and torque converter would stay locked in more

55/60 mph and below I drive around in manual 3rd (D not OD) and I have 2.93 fdr like the gtp's

4th is a fuel econ/cruise gear, use it as such.

if you have a TCC shuttling issue, your best bet is to change the tcc apply/release tables so that its to your satisfaction
