Spoiler third brake light not working

So my third brake light on my 04 grand prix isn't working. I bought a new light and replaced it and still nothing. Side note my cruise control won't come on either. Any ideas on what to look at next.

Does it have power when you press the brakes??

Thats what I'd be checking.

And on grand prix's atleast, if the 3rd brake light is out, the cruise control normally doesnt work.
